Open to everyone
This is a single-elimination bracket, and every player — kids, adults, first-timers, tournament veterans — competes together in one unified field. No separate divisions, no minimum rating. If you know how the pieces move, you’re welcome at the board.
Players under 18 need a parent or guardian’s permission to register.

Several inspirational consolation prizes will also be awarded, so showing up and playing your best is worth it even if the bracket doesn’t go your way.
